Originally based off the iconic North American T-6 (commonly used to train pilots in WW2), the design is reminiscent of planes still found in the neighbouring aerodrome!
Working closely with the team at Urban Play, with complementary play equipment from Moduplay, the finished playground is a plane fanatics dream, and the perfect space for kids of all ages and abilities to enjoy.
Training Wings acts as the centrepiece of the playground, perched above the ‘runway’ ready to take flight. Alongside Training Wings, the space also features an additional climbing frame, swings, talk tubes, a runway-themed track, and of course a charging station for refuelling after a long haul flight!
